ADDICTION TREATMENT PROGRAMS

Addiction treatment services range from nationally known, high-end private programs to local programs, some of which offer a sliding scale, funded through County health services or service organizations like the Salvation Army. Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces may access addiction treatment services through their local Veterans’ Administration programs. If you carry health insurance, your company often contracts with specific programs to which they will refer you. Some Health Maintenance Organizations such as Kaiser Permanente offer their own addiction programs to their members.

We list some of the nationally known, well-established residential, extended care and regular outpatient treatment programs here. Local programs are also available in most cities with a range of costs. For low-cost services, we suggest you contact your local County or community health services or the Salvation Army for resources.
